Terms for extensions and purchases

The terms below combine our extension usage policies and purchasing conditions. Please review both the free and paid extension terms, as well as the extension buying policy, before using or purchasing any extension. By proceeding, you agree to comply with these terms.

Free Extension Terms of Use

These terms apply to any free extensions for MIT App Inventor and its clones such as Kodular and Niotron.

  1. License Grant

    You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the extension in personal, commercial, or non-commercial projects.

  2. Restrictions

    You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension in any form (sharing a free extension within an AIA is allowed). You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or modify the extension or any part of it, nor include it in open-source or publicly distributed packages without explicit written permission.

  3. Attribution (Required for Commercial Use)

    Commercial projects must provide visible attribution to the extension creator, including the name and a link to the official source or website (if provided).

    Example: “Extension by Sarthak Gupta – https://sarthakdev.in”

  4. Ownership

    The extension remains the creator’s intellectual property. No ownership or copyright is transferred through this license.

  5. No Warranty

    The extension is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Use it at your own risk. The creator is not liable for any damages or issues, and the product may be discontinued without notice.

    THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

  6. Termination

    The license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. Upon termination, cease all use of the extension and delete all copies in your possession.

Paid Extension Terms of Use

These terms apply to any paid extensions for MIT App Inventor and related platforms.

  1. No Return, No Refund

    Purchases are for digital products and are non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you agree to this policy. Refunds may be issued only in exceptional cases at our sole discretion. After payment, Dodo Payments emails the AIX file. You can also get your AIX files with the checkout email, or email hi@sarthakdev.in.

  2. License Grant

    You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension in multiple personal, commercial, or non-commercial projects that you own or develop. You may distribute resulting APK files to end users and publish them to stores such as Google Play.

  3. Restrictions

    You may not redistribute, resell, share, or sublicense the extension. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or modify the extension. You may not transfer the license or extension access to another person or organization. The extension file (AIX) and any project (AIA) containing it must not be shared. Contact support@sarthakdev.in for multi-user licensing needs.

  4. Attribution (Optional but Appreciated)

    Attribution is not required but encouraged. When provided, include the creator’s name and link to the official source.

    Example: “Extension by Sarthak Gupta – https://sarthakdev.in”

  5. Ownership

    The extension remains the creator’s intellectual property. Purchasing a license grants usage rights but not ownership of the code or IP.

  6. No Warranty

    The extension is provided “as is” without warranties. The creator is not liable for damages or issues, and the product may be discontinued without notice.

    Licenses terminate automatically if these terms are violated. Stop using the extension and delete all copies if termination occurs.

Extension Buying Policy

Review these purchasing conditions before buying any extension from us.

  1. Refund Policy

    All sales are final. Refunds are generally unavailable but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  2. Account Authentication

    Extensions use account authentication. You agree to cooperate with the authentication process as a condition of use.

  3. Single Account License

    Each purchase covers one account. Additional accounts require separate licenses at the full extension price.

  4. Reselling Prohibition

    Reselling any extension is prohibited. Violations may lead to strict action.

  5. Updates and Feature Updates

    Future updates are generally free, though additional charges may apply in certain circumstances.

  6. False Allegations

    False allegations against an extension are not tolerated. Please report issues directly for resolution.

  7. Pricing Changes

    Pricing may change at any time without notice. Existing customers keep access at the purchase price.

  8. Support and Contact

    For support or inquiries, email support@sarthakdev.in. Support is provided when the issue is attributable to our extension; if other extensions are involved, resolution must be coordinated with their developers.

  9. Compatibility

    Extensions are tested before delivery. Verify compatibility with your system prior to purchasing.

  10. Termination of Support

    Support or updates may be discontinued. If so, you retain access to the last version provided.

  11. Terms and Conditions Updates

    Terms may change. Updates will be announced via email. You will receive notices at support@sarthakdev.in and through direct communications.

  12. Payment and Pricing

    Payments are accepted via Dodo Payments. Some payment methods may involve additional fees charged by the payment provider.

  13. User Responsibilities

    You are responsible for ensuring compatibility with your system and complying with applicable laws.

  14. Ownership and Licensing

    Purchasing provides a license to use the extension. Ownership of the code and intellectual property remains with the creator.

  15. Termination of Support and Access

    Support or access may be suspended or terminated under certain circumstances. Customers retain the last delivered version.

  16. Extension Safety

    Extensions are provided virus-free and are safe to use.

  17. Feedback and Reviews

    Feedback and reviews are welcome and help improve extensions.
